Where is the wedding?
Aruba, in the Caribbean Islands, at the Hyatt Regency Aruba.
What are the official dates for the wedding?
September 25th - 28th are the official dates for the wedding, with the ceremony itself on the 26th.
Is there a wedding registry/Are we supposed to bring gifts?
There is not! We want to ensure as many of you as possible can make it to our wedding, so we are asking that you allocate the gift spend to travel! Having you all there is the best gift we can ask for!
What time should we plan to arrive/depart?
Plan to arrive in Aruba by 3PM, Thursday, if possible, in order to take full advantage of free cocktails and welcomes!
Departure is at your convenience on Sunday, although hotel checkout is 11AM.
Are there direct flights to Aruba?
Yes, there are direct flights from Miami, Philadelphia, and Charlotte on American Airlines, direct flights from New York and Atlanta on Delta Airlines, direct flights from New York and Boston on JetBlue Airways, and direct flights from New York and Washington DC on United Airlines.
"AUA" is the Aruba airport.
Are children allowed?
To allow all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and enjoy themselves, we’ve elected to make our wedding a child-free event.
Am I allowed to bring a Plus One?
Unless explicitly stated, due to room capacity at the hotel, we ask that you do not bring a plus one.
Do we need a passport to get to Aruba?
Yes, and please ensure your passport is up to date, and not expiring!

Is there a hotel block?
Yes, there is a hotel block for guests to take advantage of at the Hyatt Regency Aruba, September 25th - 28th, where the wedding ceremony and reception will be held! The booking link is here:

How much is the room block per night?
The hotel room block at the Hyatt Regency Aruba is $402 per night. If you plan on splitting a room with up to 4 people, the nightly cost is increased to $505 per night.

Can we split a hotel room?
Yes, up to 4 guests are allowed per room!
Can we extend our stay?
Yes, of course! In the booking link, you can select the dates you want.
How many rooms are included in the hotel block?
Rooms will be blocked based on guest count, and will be limited availability. Following formal invites, we encourage you to book as quickly as you can!

Does the hotel block include breakfast?
The hotel block does not include breakfast, but brunch will be on us Saturday!
Is there a casino at the hotel?
Yes, like many hotels in Aruba, there is a casino on the hotel property complete with 13 tables for Blackjack, Poker, Roulette and more, as well as 192 slot machines.

About the Weekend's Events
What is the attire for the weekend?
Resort Evening Wear is encouraged for evening activities outside of the Ceremony itself. Men should plan to wear dressier shorts, pants or nice jeans with a polo or other collared shirt. Women can choose between casual dresses, skirts, & beach dresses.
For the Wedding Ceremony, formal resort attire is encouraged. Women can choose a midi or maxi dress (beachy dresses and florals encouraged), while Men should wear a nice button-up shirt with slacks. Dinner jackets are optional. Open-toed shoes are allowed!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors, barring any weather events!
How can we spend the day on Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th?

What are popular excursions/activities in Aruba?
Aruba is known for the kitesurfing and windsurfing, kayaking through the mangroves, deep sea fishing, off-roading and exploring in the stunning Arikok National Park, scuba diving the local wrecks, horseback riding on the beach, and visiting the local rum shops!
What is the weather like in Aruba?
The weather is warm year-round in Aruba. Aruba lies outside of the hurricane belt, and is thus not as susceptible to rain as other islands. September in Aruba is mid to high 80s and sunny!
Is tipping required in Aruba?
Tipping is not obligatory, but is at the discretion of the visitor. All open bars and the ceremony dinner have tips included, whereas outside events will lie on your discretion.
Is Aruba considered safe?
Aruba is considered one of the safest destinations in the Caribbean and in general is very safe at any time of the day or night. Please use common sense while traveling, however!
What should I pack for Aruba?
When packing for Aruba, keep in mind that you'll be in a tropical climate with lots of sunshine and warm weather, ensure you bring sunscreen! If you plan to do an excursion, ensure you bring proper shoes/clothing for that as well.
Is Aruba's water safe to drink?
There is no need to buy bottled water in Aruba. Aruba's tap water is pure and refreshing, meeting the highest standards of quality of the World Health Organization, and leading in desalination standards across the world!
Will my cell phone work in Aruba?
Yes, many cell phone providers like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint will have international plans available.
Are outlet adapters necessary?
Aruba decided to adopt the North American voltage standard of 110 A.C. (60 cycles), the same as in the United States and Canada, so no adapters are necessary.
What is the local currency
Aruba Florins are the local currency, but the USD is widely accepted. ($1 USD = ~1.75 AWG)
What languages are spoken in Aruba?
The official languages on Aruba are Dutch and Papiamento, but most Arubans are multi-lingual and are able to communicate in English and Spanish as well.
